Health Screening

Do you want to know more about your health status and risk factors? Do you want to prevent or manage chronic conditions, such as high blood pressure, diabetes, or high cholesterol? Do you want to save time and money by avoiding unnecessary doctor visits?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you should take advantage of our health screenings pharmacy services. We offer onsite health screenings that allow you to get a quick and easy checkup of your vital signs and blood levels, without having to make an appointment or wait in line.

Our health screenings include the following tests:

  • Blood pressure: This test measures the force of your blood against the walls of your arteries. High blood pressure can increase your risk of heart disease, stroke, kidney disease, and other serious health problems. Normal blood pressure is below 120/80 mmHg.

  • Blood glucose (sugar): This test measures the amount of glucose in your blood. Glucose is the main source of energy for your body, but too much or too little can cause problems. High blood glucose can indicate diabetes, a condition that affects how your body uses glucose. Low blood glucose can cause symptoms such as dizziness, confusion, or fainting. Normal blood glucose is between 70 and 100 mg/dL.

  • Cholesterol: This test measures the levels of different types of fats in your blood. Cholesterol is a waxy substance that your body needs to make hormones, vitamin D, and bile acids. However, too much cholesterol can build up in your arteries and cause blockages, leading to heart disease or stroke. There are two main types of cholesterol: HDL (good) and LDL (bad). Normal cholesterol levels are below 200 mg/dL for total cholesterol, below 100 mg/dL for LDL, and above 40 mg/dL for HDL.

Our highly qualified staff can provide these screenings in a matter of minutes, using a simple finger prick or arm cuff. You will get your results right away, along with an explanation of what they mean and recommendations on how to improve them. You can also get a printout of your results to share with your doctor or keep for your records.

Our health screenings pharmacy services are convenient, affordable, and confidential. You don’t need a medication slip or an appointment to get them. You can walk in anytime during our business hours and get screened on the spot. We respect your privacy and will not share your results with anyone without your consent.
